LinkedIn recently told me I took the leap from employee to freelancer 10 years ago!🎉

After spending 11(ish) years being a strategic, all-round BD and marketing manager for architects and built environment practices, I initially dipped my toe into freelance life as a ‘communications consultant’ …but after a few years I took another leap and focussed in on the bit that matters most to me - words.

Specifically, words written for nice people doing good things and designing beautiful spaces.

So this post is to say THANK YOU to the friends who encouraged me, the clients who commissioned me, and the talented colleagues I’ve worked with along the way. I’ve learnt a huge amount from you all.

And I’m starting this next decade with capacity to take on new work. Please do think of me if you, or someone you know, is in need of (well-experienced!) copywriting or editing support.
