It’s International Women’s Day 2023 and this year the UN theme is #DigitALL - an ambitious call out to governments, tech giants and the private sector to make the digital world safer and more inclusive. And a celebration of the pioneering women making a difference in our increasingly digital world, with the odds always stacked against them.

The theme is NOT #embraceequity - a vacuous hashtag invented by a shady organisation who (somewhat ironically given the actual 2023 theme) happen to own the International Women’s Day web domain. So please don’t hug yourself today, (unless its to keep warm, brrr), and for the love of all that is holy, please don’t start hugging other women without their consent.
