I’ve been dipping into Juliette Mitchell’s new book The Storytelling Manual for Architects. But it turns out I’m not very good at writing book reviews and I got quite stuck. So I asked my dad for tips (he writes a lot of reviews) and he told me to make it personal. Here goes.
Juliette is one of the kindest, most generous, and inspiringly practical people I’ve met through work in the last few years. And this brilliant little book is Juliette in a nutshell - friendly, honest, and packed with super useful advice, and lovely illustrations!
Architecture and architecture-adjacent friends – buy this book! It will clarify and enthuse, I promise: The Storytelling Manual for Architects
Illustrations by Anne-Marie Miller
And a PS for transparency – Juliette was kind enough to mention me in her book, (alongside some ever-so-talented writer friends), but this is a very genuine review!
