10 years of copywriting
LinkedIn recently told me I took the leap from employee to freelancer 10 years ago!🎉
After spending 11(ish) years being a strategic, all-round BD and marketing manager for architects and built environment practices, I initially dipped my toe into freelance life as a ‘communications consultant’ …but after a few years I took another leap and focussed in on the bit that matters most to me - words.
Motherhood in Lockdown
I wrote a contribution to this fabulous new book - Motherhood in Lockdown - a collection of 150 stories by mothers about our experiences of pregnancy, birth and postpartum during the COVID pandemic. As a copywriter it’s rare for me to be credited as author of my words, so seeing my name in print - for this story especially - makes me immensely proud (and quite tearful).
